Step 1: Set up your organization

Start in Administration:

  • Review Account Settings
  • Create your users
  • Assign roles and permissions

Go to Maintenance Planning:

  • Create or review aircraft models
  • Create your aircraft

Still in Maintenance Planning:

  • Create maintenance schedules
  • Set up components (if applicable)
  • Understand work packages

Go to Inventory:

  • Create items
  • Receive parts into stock
  • Organize locations
  • Understand batches and traceability

This ensures you have parts available for maintenance.


Step 5: Set up purchasing

Go to Purchasing:

  • Add suppliers
  • Create your first purchase order
  • Understand how to manage invoices

This ensures you can order and track parts.


Step 6: Start planning work

Back in Maintenance Planning:

  • Create work packages
  • Create work orders
  • Log and track defects

This prepares your operational work.


Step 7: Execute work

Go to Production:

  • Work on work orders
  • Log time entries
  • Track tool usage

This is where maintenance is performed and documented.


Step 8: Manage compliance

Go to Engineering:

  • Store technical records
  • Track airworthiness directives (ADs)

This ensures compliance and audit readiness.


Step 9: Connect with FlightLogger (optional)

If you use FlightLogger:

  • Configure FlightLogger Sync
  • Verify aircraft matching
  • Monitor synced data

This connects operations and maintenance.
