How to use kiosk screens

Kiosk screens allow you to display real-time operational data on shared screens. Use them to keep your team aligned and informed about maintenance activities.

When to use kiosk screens

Use kiosk screens when:

  • You want to display live maintenance status
  • Teams need shared visibility of work orders
  • You have a workshop or hangar environment
  • You want to reduce manual communication

Kiosk screens are designed for shared, passive viewing.

Access kiosk screens

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Administration → Kiosk Screens
2. Click “New Kiosk Screen” (or open an existing one)
3. Configure the screen settings
4. Save your changes

Configure a kiosk screen

When setting up a kiosk screen, you can:

  • Select what data to display (e.g. work orders, status)
  • Choose filters (e.g. aircraft, status, location)
  • Define how information is presented

Keep the setup simple and relevant for the audience.

Display the kiosk screen

Once configured:

  • Open the kiosk screen view
  • Display it on a shared screen (TV, monitor, etc.)
  • Keep the screen active for continuous updates

The screen will reflect live system data.

Updating a kiosk screen

You can update the screen at any time:

  • Adjust filters
  • Change displayed information
  • Refine layout or focus

This allows you to adapt it to your operation.

Best practices

  • Display only key information
  • Avoid overcrowding the screen
  • Use clear and relevant filters
  • Place screens where teams naturally look

Tips

  • Use kiosk screens during busy operations
  • Align displays with daily workflows
  • Test the setup before using it live
  • Keep screens updated as your needs change
