How to configure FlightLogger Sync

FlightLogger Sync connects your flight operations with MaintSpace. Use it to automatically transfer aircraft and flight data into your maintenance workflows.

Before you start

Before configuring FlightLogger Sync, make sure:

  • Your organization has access to FlightLogger
  • You have administrator permissions in MaintSpace
  • Aircraft exist (or will be matched) in both systems

This ensures the integration works correctly.

Access FlightLogger Sync settings

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Administration → FlightLogger Sync
2. Open the sync configuration page
3. Review current connection status

Set up the connection

To configure the integration:

  • Connect your MaintSpace account to FlightLogger
  • Authenticate access (if required)
  • Enable synchronization

Once connected, data can start flowing between systems.

Match aircraft between systems

To ensure correct data sync:

  • Match aircraft in MaintSpace with aircraft in FlightLogger
  • Verify registration and identifiers
  • Confirm that each aircraft is correctly linked

Incorrect matching can lead to data inconsistencies.

Configure sync behavior

Depending on your setup, you can:

  • Control what data is synced
  • Define update frequency
  • Enable or disable specific sync features

Make sure settings align with your operational needs.

Verify the sync

After setup:

  • Check sync status in the FlightLogger Sync page
  • Confirm that flight hours are updating
  • Verify that aircraft data is aligned

This ensures everything is working as expected.

Common issues

If the sync is not working correctly:

  • Check that the connection is active
  • Verify aircraft matching
  • Ensure permissions are correct
  • Allow time for data to update

Tips

  • Keep aircraft data consistent across both systems
  • Review sync settings during onboarding
  • Monitor sync regularly
  • Use the integration to reduce manual data entry
